My Crochet Tote from Plastic Bags
After reading the how to on preparing plastic bags for knit or crochet, I dug into my bin of bags and got started. I found this patter for a tote at Marlo’s Crochet Corner.
Here is my progress so far. I have used 8 Walmart bags.
It measures 11” by 8” at this time. I would be finished except that I got distracted. I have KCADD (Knit Crochet Attention Deficit Disorder) which has me working on numerous projects at one time.
For example, after finishing several pair of fingerless gloves, I decided to make another set with a scarf to post on Etsy.
Then I saw a poncho at e-Patterns dot com and had to make a poncho for my granddaughter.
which one of my teddy bears wanted to model.
So, time for some web work then on to more knit and crochet. With hubby on unemployment I have given up going to the yarn shops to save money. So I am working with my stash. Actually once I got to looking through it I find I have an entire yarn shop in there. (Please don’t tell my husband.)
