A recent post by Amy Clarke Moore at Knitting Daily commented on a cardigan she has been working on for 10 years.  This prompted me to pull out my “way too long in process” project.

Meet my grandparents.  In January 1999 they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. I took a picture of them and had it converted to a cross stitch pattern which I started with great enthusiasm.  Next month they will celebrate their 79th anniversary and I still have not finished the project.

Since reading of Amy’s plight to finish her dad’s cardigan I have at least pulled the project out of the closet. Hmmmmm, maybe by their 80th?????
