Knit-Out 2008
I am packing to leave for Minneapolis and the 2008 Knit-Out at the Mall of America. My husband and I are making this an anniversary/valentine outing and plan to have a very enjoyable weekend.
I will be busy with the Knit-Out, volunteering to teach crochet to beginners on both Saturday and Sunday. The group has a room available at the hotel for 24 hour knitting and crocheting. The line up of guests and attractions at the mall look to be exciting. I personally hope to meet Debbie Macomber, author of Knit Together and many other books. I found encouragement in this book to step out in faith and try to publish the Knitting Bible Study and to begin speaking for Bear Witness.
Also at the Mall is the Lego place where my husband plans to be a little boy again and build, build, build. As a fan of Prairie Home Companion the Lake Wobegone store is definitely on our list of places to see.
