Knit-Out 2008: Pictures Part 1
Day 1 of the Knit-Out was quite exciting. As I posted earlier, Purl was busy posing for the camera at the various vendor booths. She certainly felt she was “Queen of the Mall” that day. She wanted to play “Where is Purl” among the fibers.
We started the day at the poster and began our walk. Bearemy stuck his head in once so he could be part of the fun.
As we walked along Purl jumped at the chance to visit the Coats and Clark booth. Purl was knitted with Red Heart yarn and felt right at home with the knitted sweaters and skeins of yarn. Among the display of items was an attractive Heart-Felt Necklace made with bamboo wool. I now have a skein an plan to make one for Purl.
Soft Caron yarn creates beautiful clothing and Purl wanted to be a part of that scene. On display was the “Baroque Tabard Tunic” which I thought was beautiful.
We moved on down to the Boye table where we found demonstrations of the Boye look with Bernat yarn.
Moving on Purl really felt like a queen when she had the opportunity to held photographed with Debbie Macomber, Jennifer Stafford and the Lion Brand Lion.
Time for a break then more Knit-Out fun.
