Swifter Sweeper Covers
While shopping at Michael’s recently I saw a flyer pattern by Sugar ‘n Cream yarn to knit a cover for the Swifter Sweeper. I’ve been trying to resist purchasing more yarn until I use up enough stash to safely open the closet door. But I thought “I can buy this yarn because if it works I will save money and not have to buy the swifter cloths” I convinced myself I must try this out. It knitted up very quickly and I put it on the sweeper. It picked up the dirt and dog hair easily. When finished I threw it in the washer and dryer then reapplied it to the sweeper. It is ready to go again.
I love it. I knitted only one so I have to make more. If you check out their website there is also a crocheted version. You have to sign up with your email address to access their free patterns.
Once I tried the sweeper I started to modify the pattern to crochet one for my Swifter Wet Jet and my daughter wants something for her Lysol Steam Mop. I will post when they are complete. I made 2 covers from 1 skein.
